Satyavan serves as Executive Chairman/CEO working with senior team leaders/foreign partners and best managing principals to give this firm a direction towards its growth and maintaining NCER’s work culture and core values. He also supports the company’s General civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Water Resource (Hydrology and Hydraulics) Engineering, GIS and Transportation Engineering divisions as a Lead Design Engineer. He has more than 10 years of experience in various engineering projects from within Nepal and abroad (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc.). His vision for the firm is to remain focused on continued growth at a steady pace, provide opportunities of internal growth for employees , promote this firm and establish recognition within Nepal and abroad as a provider of quality consulting service and continue to become an industry leader.

Mr. Ganesh is a proficient Water Resources Engineer and CAD Manager at NCER. With extensive experience encompassing various projects, his expertise lies in Drainage Design and the utilization of key industry software, such as Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and EPA-SWMM. He oversees the design and coordination of projects associated with drainage systems for new developments and storm water management. He ensures that each project is executed to meet the highest quality and standards. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering, he is deeply committed to addressing the significant water infrastructure challenges in Nepal.

Rijan Jayana, a dedicated civil engineer, is a graduate with honors from Khwopa College of Engineering, TU. With a year of research experience in cement mortar and monsoon landslides during his academic study and prior roles as a design engineer, he joined NCER in December 2021 as a full-time employee.
He has over 4 years of experience, excelling in Hydrology, Hydraulics, Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA), and structural analysis, and is also actively involved in NCER operations, hiring & onboarding, and contributing to organizational strategy. He brings extensive expertise in water resource and traffic engineering, specializing in drainage and land development, stormwater and floodplain management, TIA, signal design and warrants, pedestrian crossing and traffic modeling, alongside pioneering research in timber and concrete structures.
He possesses proficiency in software essential for stormwater & floodplain modeling, TIA, and structural analysis, including Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, GIS, SWMM, Synchro, ETABS, Staad Pro, and Python.

Suraj Nemkul, a distinguished graduate civil engineer from Khwopa College of Engineering, embarked on a new chapter in his professional journey in 2023 by joining the Nepal Center for Engineering and Research (NCER). He is well known for his unrelenting enthusiasm for structural engineering, a field that has captured his heart and intellect. Alongside his structural expertise, he possesses skill sets, excelling in software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, Synchro, and EPA SWMM.

Sohan Joshi joined NCER in June 2023 as a Civil Engineer after earning his Bachelor's degree from Kathmandu Engineering College. Since joining the team, he has been actively involved in a variety of projects, including civil plan development, land development, roadway and drainage design, as well as hydrological and hydraulic analysis. Sohan brings strong technical expertise to the team, with proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, and GIS.
His commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his ongoing pursuit of a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering at Pulchowk Campus, IOE, which he is undertaking alongside his professional responsibilities. His analytical approach, combined with a solid academic foundation and practical experience, makes him a valuable asset to NCER’s engineering team.

Project Engineer / Project Admin
Rohan Maharjan, an enthusiastic civil engineer, graduated from Khwopa College of Engineering in 2024. He embarked on his professional journey with NCER in May 2024, initially as an intern and now as a full-time employee. During his academic tenure, Rohan engaged in research on the masonry of Bajra Mortar and Ma Appa bricks, providing valuable insights on traditional construction materials.
Rohan's passion lies in Structural and Transportation Engineering, with a particular focus on design optimization. His skill set includes proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Agisoft Metashape, HEC-RAS, Synchro, QGIS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Beyond his engineering pursuits, Rohan is committed to cultural preservation. He is actively involved in his community, playing and teaching traditional Newari musical instruments like Dhime, Khin, and Ponga, enriching the cultural heritage of his locality. Known for his dedication to quality, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit, Rohan consistently brings valuable contributions to the NCER team.

Project Engineer / Project Admin
Shital Raj Deuja is a civil engineer with a knowledge in hydraulic modeling, structural analysis, GIS applications, and drainage design. He has worked on projects involving stormwater management, floodplain mapping, grading plans, hydrologic analysis, and structural analysis of commercial buildings applying tools like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, QGIS, ETABS, and REVIT. Shital has also taken on a mentorship role by supervising an undergraduate project, showing his ability to guide others while staying engaged with technical problem-solving.

Project Engineer
Tanuj Bhatt, a civil engineering graduate from Khwopa College of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, joined NCER in 2024. With prior experience in the hydropower sector, he has been constantly involved in significant engineering projects, gaining valuable knowledge in the field. His core competencies lie in geotechnical and water resources engineering, and he is involved in various academic research projects. Tanuj is proficient in using advanced software tools such as Phase2, Dips, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ETABS, EPA-SWMM, and GIS tools. His academic interests include disaster risk management, tunnel design, underground structures, and sustainable infrastructure. In addition to his professional endeavours, he enjoys trekking, playing cricket, and swimming.

Project Engineer
Ashmin Poudel is a dedicated civil engineer specializing in Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), drainage, and land development projects. A 2024 graduate from IOE, Pulchowk Campus, he brings expertise in industry-standard software, including Synchro, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-ResSim, and Excel. With a strong foundation in data analysis and automation, Ashmin also has experience in Python programming and Excel VBA, enhancing efficiency in engineering workflows.

Project Engineer
Sayar Prajapati is a Civil Engineer and a graduate of Khwopa College of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. He joined NCER in February 2025, bringing with him over two years of professional experience in the design of Water Supply Projects, Structural Analysis, and Cost Estimation & Rate Analysis.
At NCER, he continues to apply his detail-oriented mindset and practical expertise to deliver sustainable engineering solutions. Mr. Prajapati is proficient in software tools such as MS Office Suite, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD, and is currently expanding his capabilities in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GIS, and Civil 3D.

Project Engineer
Isra Manandhar graduated from Kathmandu Engineering College in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, and has been a part of the NCER team since Feb 2025. She has over a year of experience in structural analysis and design of buildings. Since joining NCER, she has worked on a range of drainage and hydrology related projects. She is experienced in using software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ETABS, EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and QGIS to support her designs and modeling work.

Project Engineer
Utsav Pradhan is a dedicated Civil Engineer who graduated from Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering (IoE), Tribhuvan University in 2022 and is currently perusing a Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering. He has been a part of NCER since February, 2025.
Prior to joining the NCER team, he had been involved in various consulting projects across Nepal, gaining valuable experience in geometric design of roadway, hydrological and hydraulic analysis, structural analysis, preparation of technical drawings and estimations, and detailed project report (DPR) preparation.
At NCER, he has been contributing to land development projects, traffic impact analysis, and hydrologic and hydraulic modelling of stormwater management infrastructures. He is proficient in a wide range of software, including AutoCad, Civil 3D, QGIS, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, SW-Road, Synchro, ETABS, SAP2000, Microsoft Office, Sketchup, and programming in C and R.

Project Engineer
Sachin Shrestha is a committed civil engineer and a graduate of Khwopa College of Engineering, TU. He gained a year of experience designing residential and commercial buildings before joining NCER as an intern. Currently a full-time member at NCER, Sachin contributes to diverse projects, including traffic impact assessments, hydrological analyses, and drafting. He demonstrates technical proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, Synchro, and GIS. Sachin consistently strives for innovative solutions and is passionate about enhancing project outcomes through collaborative efforts.

Civil Engineering Technician
Commencing his tenure as an intern in November 2024, Nishan Prajapati has transitioned into a valuable Civil Designer and CAD Technician role. Holding a degree in Civil Engineering from Khwopa College of Engineering, his core strengths lie in designing and drafting diverse projects. Mr. Prajapati is particularly adept in AutoCAD Civil 3D, applying this expertise to critical areas such as grading and stormwater management for forthcoming developments.

Civil CAD Techician
Suman Puri, a dedicated CAD technician, completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Khwopa Polytechnic Institute in 2021. He has been involved in diverse infrastructure and hydropower projects of up to 900 MW capacity, gaining extensive experience in surveying, supervision, cost estimation, and 2D/3D drafting.
Suman’s interests lie in construction management and hydropower development, supported by his strong technical and field coordination skills. Outside of work, he enjoys music, travelling, bicycling, coding, and spending quality time with colleagues.

Civil CAD Techician
Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, a dedicated CAD technician, completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Valley College of Engineering, Kathmandu. He has practical experience in surveying, drafting, and site supervision for road and bridge projects, and is developing strong technical skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and modern surveying tools.
His interests lie in structural design and infrastructure development, with a growing focus on applying innovative and efficient design solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess, solving Rubik’s cubes, and engaging in strategic thinking activities.

Data Analyst / Executive Assistant
Allow us to introduce Utkarsh Khatri, an aspiring Data Engineer currently serving as an executive assistant. He is a second-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence. His core competencies lie in building machine learning pipelines and software engineering. His skill set includes python programming, Javascript, REACT JS, DJANGO, POWER BI, SQL, PANDAS and many more. Apart from his professional endeavours, he enjoys playing football, chess, cricket and volleyball.
